    [Misc] Ricoh C2003 - print job will do after re-close duplex unit

    as i describe in title, motors are not working after i press start for print job and counter list. Print jobs will work after i re-close duplex unit. But this problem will happen again when i reboot machine. Is there anyone experienced the same problem like this?

      Check the Service Code log for any type C errors at power up. These are non fatal errors that are counted and logged only, they are not displayed.

          i found SC552-02, check Fusing Temperature with SP MODE 1-106, it is 45 deg after standby for a while, after re-close duplex unit, it will be 110 deg and work for print.

              Clean/check/replace the fusing thermopile unit. Located in the body of the C2003 just above the connector for the fusing unit. After removing the fusing unit two connectors and two screws to remove.

                  Thermopile errors could also be given from faulty connections in fuser unit unplug all connectors ie thermistors etc and rear of main connector big blue one before reconnecting make sure no pins are push slightly out. Good luck

                      Thank you all for advice. Finally, i fixed it by clear counter of fuse.

                                      But sometimes necessary. Decades ago I worked on Vydec word processors. 20+ boards. A board could be within design specs on its output and the board it was talking to could be within design specs on its input but you could still get random errors if one board was to of extreme of the specs and the 2nd board to the other extreme. It was pick one and replace it. If that didn't work try the other. Tag the board with a description of the error. When I got the same error on 3 or more machines I would send the board to the repair depot. Component level techs had a list of what to replace passed on reported error.
