MP C2003 Can scan to WIN 10 Home but not WIN 10 Pro

Would this be resolved by a firmware upgrade? Got 2 PCs scanning to Home with no problem but getting an authentication error for 3 Pros.

The main difference between Win 10 Home and Win 10 Pro is that Pro can join a domain. If the Win 10 Pro is part of a domain the the C2003 have the Domain Name properly set in the interface settings, the first DNS must be the primary domain DNS and scanning must be to the computer name.

Yes update the firmware if you're still having issues as there was a security release for this model enabling SMB 2/3 support.

There is no domain. I am trying both computer name and IP address and both are not working for 4 of 6 PCs. I did not enter any domain IPs. Maybe I should use googles domain? 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4?

Not sure where the security tab is. I was in under admin and just added a user the usual way. Is there another way under a security tab of some sort?

I am working on getting the firmware. I had set SMB 1.0 in Programs.

Contact a local authorized Ricoh Family Group dealer to update it for you.

Thanks, I can do it and have a source for the firmware.

You could try to switch SMB port to 445 via telnet if it's still set to 139.
                    Code:
                    msh> smb client port 445
and don't forget to log out otherwise changes won't be saved.

goto "turn Windows features on or off" tick on SMB v1.0 server

Try Windows Explorer, Right click on the folder you want to scan the files to, click on Properties.
