It looks like we found the problem. SSL 3.0 must be enabled in the WIM. Use SSL secure connection and port 465. Those settings allowed the email to send from the office Ricoh. Now to try it on the customers Ricoh.

My bad for assuming that you had entered the correct settings in the first place.

Glad you found a working solution, however, SSL3.0 does not necessarily need to be enabled, but of course "use secured connection (SSL)" needs to be selected, and port 465 (although I believe port 587 may work as well).

      However,
getting back to my original suggestion, 'enable less secure apps' is a bad idea.
2FA / app passwords are the far better option.
      Suit yourself...

        Thanks for your suggestions.
By the way. How do you apply 2 Factor Authentication App in the unit?

BTW Google is in the process of eliminating 'enable less secure apps.' Not sure of the cut off date but if you are not a Google Apps or Google Suite user and can setup one of the other Port 25 options available to them soon you will not be able to use older MFP that do not support TLS.

That comes very close to being rude to a senior member. I would advise you avoid such comments in the future or run the risk of getting Red Carded and reported.

                    You don't
You enable it in the Google account, and then use the app password in the email section when setting up scan to email

You were very quick to see that initial reply (that, yes, has since been deleted).

I tried quoting that reply ... went white screen no quote.. you must have been in the process of editing/deleting it.
