[Misc] RICOH MP C3503 White streaks after installing new drum + dev

Hello,

We had a problem with MP C3503 machine from a client, white streaks on page exactly as in the pictures. It was solved by swapping the PCDU from a working machine with low counter.
For donor machine we ordered and replaced new pcu + dev. And misteriously the same happened. Even though before swapping drums only one of them was problematic.
I cant wrap it up, what could cause this on a perfectly fine machine whitch had no problems, plus new parts installed. Maybe someone has seen this before and can help ?

Any suggestion appreciated.

P.S The page comes out long edge.

Could be that by taking out this pcdu some toner upon the pcdu dropped on the toner shield glas . Clean it. Solved?

Looks more like short edge feed to me, as Mark said, clean laser glass then check dev roller.

Thank you for your time Mark. As i mentioned before the page comes out long edge if there would be toner on glass the streak would go long to long edge, and now its short to short. I tried cleaning as you suggested nothing changed.

Checked developer roller. Its brand new, no visible streaks. I dont understand how can streak like this long to long edge even occur. I understand short to short edge, toner on glass or something stuck in developer, but this, first time for me. Cant understand how its happening.

Was the PCU rear cover transferred over from old pcu?

Check the connector from the wire from the TD sensor.
I've had the same problem once because it was not deep enough plugged!

Thank you Dave, right on the spot. Thats exactly what happened, person replacing the drum lost or threw out the back cover, and as i installed the new once didnt have the piece.
