Have ricoh mp2501sp, machines comes ready from on, but panel hangs, nothing can be commanded from control panel. Anything to check?

If the machine can print & the hard keys work sounds like you have a failing touch pad so either clean or replace it.
We have a few issues like this usually down to customers "sanitising" the screen.

The machine was just working, the panel just from on point hangs without doing, customer was the one who realized. No error code.

first check panel on other machine if its ok than go for hard diskComment

Could be the touch glass on top of the LCD. We had some failures, due to customers spraying sanitiser on the machines because of COVID.
We ended up replacing some (which we could not prove the cause) and billing others where you could clearly see the sticky goo on the glass.
Try doing the calibration, as other posters suggested.Press the GREEN button!!Comment
