    airprint c3003

    Hoi,
We have Airprint active in WIM, but it is not working.
We presume that the Airprint signals go via the wireless router and not via the c3003 itself.
Does the Airprint certificate needs to be filled in? If yes, how?
First we installed the "Ricoh Smart Device Connector" app on the Iphone.
Then it asked for the QR code (which we don't know how to print it) OR to fill in this info:
the IP address (of the c3003), shared name, domain name, log in's.
Do they mean the log in's from the router?

Thank you (again!) for helping us out here.

I haven't had to enable airprint with the IMC series yet but I'd assume it's the same set-up procedure

There was a firmware fix for AirPrint on this model, update to the latest package & try again.

For the smart device connector app add the copier via ip address you'll find this a lot more reliable.

I think this QR code feature for the app was introduced with the MPC3004 series. This app also has nothing to do with airprint, that's a native feature for apple mobile devices.

This is correct, the QR code is an app for models with the smart operation panel.

Yeah that might show up since it's not a validated, obtained certificate.

                    Thanks, Gift.
Is this certificate originally for free or not?
And has the imc2000 also such a certificate, or is it for this model already been signed?
Perhaps there is a Ricoh bulletin concerning this matter?

                    I'm posting a lot of questions, i know. But you must know that with a Brother these are no issues at all;
                    it installs itself automatically...

To rewrite the certificate try running SP5870-003 then 001 and reboot the device, this should then allow you to use Airprint, if still no luck then try the update certificate method see attached pdf.

The SOP is available for the Cxx03 models as an option.

If the C3003 has a SOP the QR code is displayed on the panel. If it does not have a SOP then you do not need the "Ricoh Smart Device Connector" app. Scanning the QR code gives the "Ricoh Smart Device Connector" app on the Iphone the needed connection information in order for the app to connect to the customer's WiFi.
