If 5985-002 is set to a 1 then your all set. It sounds like the Fiery controller is still set up on the machine. Check out these SP settings. You want it to be at the "DEFAULT VALUE"

As described in the service manual, change the following four SP values in Model Met- MF3 when installing the E-25C.
          SP#: 5193-001
          Value: 1 (Default: 0)
          * The valid external controller will be specified as “Fiery controller”.

          SP#: 5895-001
          Value: 1 (Default: 0)
          * This setting disables the pre-installed GW printer features.

GW printer features must be disabled to use the E-25C.
          SP#: 4201-003
          SP#: 4201-004
          Values: 15 (Default: 11)
          * These settings will optimize the engine print parameters for E-25C.

I have done some checking in the service manual and parts catalog. The C4500 does not contain the Printer firmware embedded on the controller like most current models do. It requires a Printer/scanner SD card in order for the printer application, scanner application and Netfile Application to be available. If the Printer/Scanner SD card is missing you might be able to order it from parts, part number B8375001 SD-Card: Printer/Scanner.
