Ricoh mpc5503 (Black Strip Lines and shadows)

Hi Everyone,
I have a customer Ricoh mpc5503 that prints black strips lines and shadows.
I've LCU Polygon box etc to no avail.
Pls does any one have an idea what could be the problem?? Attached its a copy of printout and color pattern.

From your sample it simply looks like the black PCU is worn out. What is the PM life on?

BAd drum, dirty charge roller, excessively worn lube bar.

Agree with everyone else.
I's unusual to say the least that you'd start by replacing the Laser unit for an image quality problem like this

So bad. Isn't that viewable when you look at black drum?

30k copy, 10k print.
Drum and PCR was changed recently. After it was installed, it came out the strips lines

A new opc drum and PCR.

I didn't replaced. I only cleaned with cleaning brush.

I didn't replaced. I only cleaned with cleaning brush.

You are clearly on a budget.

Swap the black charge roller with one from say the yellow PCDU & see if the image quality fault swaps to yellow.

I get the impression that he doesn't know how to access the charge roller. Judging from his profile he is still an apprentice.

Yes, anyone who would replace the laser first for black lines clearly doesn't have a clue!
