    Ricoh mpc4503 toner hopper supply

I had a couple go bad here lately. They get broke from toner backing up trying to added toner to developer unit that is bad. Part #D1493240 for whole unit. The auger that feeds toner down to Pcu breaks. This there a part # for auger only or do you just have to but whole assy.

Yup, I've been seeing these brake since the METIS was first released.

Still occasionally see this issue on the IMC range.

I gutted a low meter mpc2503 is that toner supply unit the same?
Toner and toner bottles are the same except for some plastic keeping you from using the mpc6003 in the mpc3503 and the chip..

I use Q-Bond to repair the augers. It's basically super glue with powder. Just did one this afternoon on a 2004 and have done countless others without failure over the years

ok thanks for info. i had toner bottles that were full of toner and copier say where empty. was looking for toner chips to replace and came across youtube video where they were able to rest them.

reset toner chips using 7-894-1then they did 2 then 3 then turn office copier and back on now showing good that was in factory mode. i check and try looking and was not in our version must be only oversea that you can this. I did try 3-894-04 and rest all to full only can use it when toner chips has not been depleted. I was looking for to when they added toner and there was a problem and now says no good to rest chips to make them work again. I guess here in states will have to buy replacement chips.

They do tend to twist quite badly sometimes but there's enough space to stick it and build it up with lots of powder.

I sand the surfaces down or score it with a blade and flip the auger that twisted off around and stick the opposite tip back to the side that attaches to the drive because it has a flatter surface. Hard to explain but once you've opened it and had a look you'll see what I'm trying to say.

If you can't get any QBond super glue and salt or bicarb of soda should work fine too
