C.T., can you please be more specific for exactly which update will do?

If you click on the link he provided, it tells you which patch works for the version of Windows that you're running. Look under "previously installed updates" and you'll see the version of windows that is used. Then go to Microsoft Update Catalog to find the patch that you need.

I just discovered my old Dymo label printer also won't work now because of this update. Thanks Microsoft for AGAIN messing things up. Dammit.

It's really just the old shortcut of GDI printing finally getting closed down. Thanks to a decision by Microsoft years ago to put the GDI elements deeper into the OS, it's been used several times to exploit the OS. Print manufacturers have used it for cheap and easy software since it doesn't require the data to be transferred to a real print language like PCL or PostScript, though even some language based drivers use it to speed up the process of printing.

Hopefully, this will be another sign to manufacturers to actually make decent print drivers for their systems.

I finally got it to work with the third driver I downloaded. Sheesh.
