In my case, a mpc3002 in Belgium, the problem is still there:
white bands in picture out-prints when using the Microsoft printing software with anything less than '9 pictures on one A4' page.
Is it solved at your place?

the only solution at first was to uninstall the Windows 10 patch. It's KB5000802, it depends on the version

I solved it at the only customer with those symptoms (and before an update was available) by installing the PCL6 Universal Driver V4

Hi all, since yesterday i've had 4 different customers calling up for printing problems and they all sound like this, the white lines through pictures and stuff.
Seeing as I will have to phone all of them up and probably more in the next few weeks what is the quickest solution, would it be to guide them to the link that copier tech posted and try choosing the right one for their operating system or can I just ask them to do a manual 'check for updates' on windows and let windows install the update itself? I don't really want to change drivers at all these places, especially as 2 of those customers have custom drivers I spent ages setting up in specific ways. Cheers

The easiest way for you is to point them to the link below & tell them to run the manual update. (This is for Kyocera but is the same if the copier is a Ricoh)

Installing XPS river solves too.

Fun fact: v4 printer drivers for Windows are actually XPS drivers under the hood. I guess Microsoft finally found a use for XPS after suggesting it as a replacement for PDF back in the Vista days went absolutely nowhere.

As i posted here earlier, keep in mind that using this universal driver will only affect on pictures saved directly AFTER this driver was installed.
If printing out pic's BEFORE this new driver was installed, you must first save these pic's renewed.

What version of windows 10 are you running. I would update to 20H2 version and run all the updates. May take several reboots and checking for updates and installing them. We have been doing this for weeks now. Works until MS screws up again with faulty updates.

Simply install all updates available to each user/PC.
