    Pro C5100s - Skew trays 2&3

    Hello,

After some advice on this one. Getting terrible skew from these 2 trays.

All feed rollers new, and reg unit also new.

    Tray 1 is fine.

    Vertical transport seems fine.

    Any ideas?

Worked on these since launch and haven't had this before.

    Thanks.

Easiest way is to print the trimming pattern and adjust the skew out per tray using SP modes. You can also do it in the Fiery if it has one.

Is only the second side skewed or both sides?

It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

If it's only on trays 2 & 3 most probably the right side door. Also check side guides in cassette and the black guide side of feed assy haven't broken off

There is a bulletin for this. You need to add a metal bracket to the locking mechanism on the door.

                Has this been done?

Is the tray 1 working fine without the skew or you are using a different paper for that tray?
Please be informed that the depending on the methods you use to correct the skew (device or Fiery). Please ensure that you have the same paper weight that you will will be using for production or output.
The skew correction can be better managed if you calibrate it with the paper that you will use for production.
                    Thanks.
