Smart panel some apps missing

Had a technician do service mode 5-761-1 now display really miss up. i try looking in service manual and it is not listed and look in smart panel service manual nothing there either. does some one know how to reset smart panel back to factory settings

You have to go into recovery mode. Make sure the panel is in NORMAL startup mode then reboot it. If all the icons come back, joy. If not:

Power off machine, press and hold EX1 and EX3. When the screen first starts displaying the blue horizon, switch to EX1 and EX2. It takes a couple of attempts to get it right the first time. Go to factory reset. That will take a minute or so then you have to reload all the apps downloaded from My-ricoh.

You should also download the SOP designer tool and load it on your service laptop. It can be used to backup customer panel configurations.

If the machine has an older package firmware installed updating to a later package will automatically re-install all the default apps.
