    Ricoh 2090 ADF initialize

Is there a way to initialize the ADF sensors on this machine? I swear I have done this before after cleaning out the adf but I cannot remember and cannot find it in the manual at all. I thought there would be something about it upon replacing the ADF board as well, but I see nothing there either. thanks for any input.

I don't think you can on the ricoh. I know you were able to do it on the sharp analogue like the sf-2030 when you cleaned the sensors on them. I've checked the service manual and there is nothing i can see except input mode.

Right, some of the boxes, like Sharp, have you reinitialize the sensors after cleaning them. Ricoh, unless on the very new boxes, does not require you to get them back into spec.
