    swapping a MPC4502 Drum into a SPC831 PRINTER.

I HAVE THE NEED to get a SPC831 MAGENTA DRUM/DEVELOPER and have a new mpc4502 unit.
It s been a bit but is it just the TD sensor that need to be swapped from the bad printer unit??\
I know on the SPC430 TO MPC401 SWAP IT WAS JUST THE td sensor.
    thanks in advance

I know you can swap the sensor with the little harness but you can also just swap the pins around on the little connector. On the c4502 drum unit if you have the connector with the little plastic holders facing you swap over the two cables on the right. You can lift the little plastic tabs with a flat blade and push them back down then reinsert the metal wire.

I'm sure it will work on the printer version.
It's easier than swapping over the whole sensor. Also check the rj45 style connector on the back of the drum. You might need to file the connector at one side to make it work/fit

      Good info!
And this was also a requirement along with TD Sensor when swapping the dev units from SP C430/ C401 that Andy referred to

I think it is feasible, for example I put a developer unit of the mpc2800 on the mpc4502, and it works fine, I only replaced the td sensor, the connector wiring was the same, but the sensor was different electronically
