how to lock a printer job without driver

a costumer complained that the user keep erasing the user code from the printer driver and print,that made him to not know the volume of printing of the user also the user can print BW or colour which is prevented by him,and asking now how to block any user doesn't have a user code?

is that possible,if so,can you please lead me where i can fix that?

User Code Authentication

You'll want to set up User Authentication Management and select the options you want to restrict.

Then in the address book entry for that user, you have to select what options the user's code has access to (so you could limit color printing in the User Authentication window and then uncheck Color Printing under that users address book entry and they wouldn't be able to print color even with their code.

If you set it up this way, if the user deletes their code from the print driver they will not be able to do anything that you've restricted under User Authentication Management.

You also need to change the Admin password so that said user cannot change the settings that ThePomqueteer said to make.

Also what I would do is use the Printer Driver Packager NX to edit the driver then the user will get a pop up each time they print & if they don't enter their code they can't print.
