change series to Ricoh MP 4055

hello everyone, i am having trouble changing the series of the Ricoh 5 series models. when I enter SP factory mode it only lets me change the last 8 characters, I work repairing ricoh equipment plates and to test them before I only changed the series and could test them on any other machine, I would appreciate if someone could send me that information to change the series

That reads to me like you are wanting to do something illegal such as change a slower machine to a 55 PPM machine or at least to appear to be one.

I've been a Ricoh tech for a long time and I don't have clue what he's talking about. Must be some super secret stuff.

Sounds like it to me also Tim. Just like changing the total counter to ZERO on a half assed refurbed unit.

It seems to me he wants to change serial numbers to allow a circuit board to work in another machine for testing purposes? (Just guessing here)

Another one of those mindless threads where someone makes some nonsensical statement, and everyone else chimes in.

All while there is no response from the trolling OP.
