That's bizarre, swapping over the nvrams from the old controller to the new should just work with no issues.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

May try updating the firmware first?

I've fitted a few used controller boards over the years without this error.

          Clear @remote, SP 5816-209

            Hello,

I returned the Controller to it's original machine which has firmwares all updated.

When it was in the offending machine I could not enter:

            1.SP modes.
2.System Settings to Set to Auto Config & grab a new IPv4 or just match it so I could log into Controller.
3.Meter Counter was never loaded either. We needed the Monthly counters for billing client.

After reading Service Manual : Replace & Adjust Section. It appears that the NVRAM data is copied to the Controller so you must always install a new controller with old NVRAM's or if you install new NVRAM's you must upload "Old NVRAM Data" on the Old controller onto New NVRAM's.

At least that is my understanding.

Thanks for your input Copier Tech.

Hello and Thank you for your input tjvincent ,

How should Executing this SP resolve the problem, please help me understand.

Just to add more info, Under this SC652-00 I was not able to enter SP modes or Log into the controller thru IPv4 on a Web Browser.

I currently have the Controller back in it's Original machine with its Original NVRAM's, I would image that I need the troubled machine NVRAM's to run SP5816-209 but of course there is no entering SP modes.

              Thank you again
              tjvincent.

The SC-652 is indicating the original machine was registered to @remote, maybe you could run SP 5816-209 on the original machine now that you have the controller back in it.
That still shouldn't cause your problem of not being able to get into service mode though.
