    SP for SR3170 gathering roller

    Looking for the SP code to open the exit on a SR3170 to replace the gathering roller

      I don't remember, however you can obtain the same result by removing the internal white plastic arm (two white plastic seegers) and keeping it open with some object of your choice

        Called Ricoh no sp to open the exit. Had to remove lots of parts to get to the roller.

          that's not true, there's a sp, seen it up somewhere, but I don't have time to go look where I saw it, anyway, you can use the finisher's free-run sp-outs, he'll keep opening up and close, you just need to with a little dexterity when it is fully open, open the front door and it remains stuck open like this.
          however, as I wrote before, I think the best way is to remove the white plastic control arm, and hold it open with something, I do this.
