    Ricoh pro C5200 error SC555

    Ricoh Pro C5200S error SC555

    Hi Guys, any help appreciated
    Error SC555 intermittently but very often. pressure roller thermopile has been changed , errors now and than.
    same fuser installed into another C5200 been working fine, but fuser unit has been replaced from working C5200 and error still coming up SC555, latest firmware, power force checked direct plugged to wall outlet.

    any ideas or help please.

    Have u solve this issue? I have the same problem I did everything supposed to be done ( changed Thermopile , thermostat, swapp fuser unit). If there's any update please let me know

      I swapped fuser as customer has 2x mfd side by side n had no problem since than.
      weird , as I have changed thermopile, thermistors update FW etc

        Also check the power source is not plugged in extension cable., should be direct to wall socket.

          Drawer connector of the fusing unit may be not connected correctly to the machine and then machine cannot detect the pressure roller home position (Non-pressure position) if the operator does not push the drawer unit all the way into the tray. As a result, SC569-02 may appear.
          After that, the cam [A] rotates from pressure position to non-pressure position. This causes shock to both heater terminals inside the pressure roller and breaks the heating lamp. The shock is caused by the gap between the pressure position (top dead point) and non-pressure position (bottom dead point). As a result, SC555-00 may appear.
