    Toner Density Ricoh 2503

    Hi All,

Is there any sp adjustment to reduce black toner density on Ricoh mpc2503 or any sp to reduce VT on OPC??
    Thanks.

It's an OEM toner. I still don't know why the black density its too dark.

All parts are genuine OEM parts. I know there's an sp settings to be done, but I've forgotten. I'll try to remember.

The problem is you do not think the problem all the way through. Any SP change you make to reduce, or increase, the density of the K toner will result in less toner being put on the drum. Less toner on the drum will result in less toner on the ITB. That will result in the ID patch being lighter, or darker, and Process Control will reverse your adjustment.

At least one of the critical SP settings that I used to change in previous models does not exist on the MP CXX03 series.

Carry out a PM replace the K PCU & Dev if over life.

Update the firmware & run ACC.

This will most likely resolve any print quality issues you have.

                      Counters?
Did you fixed some problem before it started?
Since when did this happen, and what happened just before that?
