Running in to a headscratcher on this one. Ricoh MP 5054 says Toner Cartridge Setting Error all of a sudden. All OEM Parts & Consumables only. PM was recently completed on the Drum and Fuser, no under toning issues.
When the error message came, I thought maybe there was an issue with the bottle itself. Added the new toner and message went away for a few hours. Message came back and not sure what to do. If I put the Original toner bottle back in, message goes away for a short while and then comes back.
I don't think it is limited to number of copies, sat at customer for at least an hour while they were printing. Wondering if it is an issue when machine can't recover from sleep or goes into process control.
