    IMC400 message . .

    Hi,
Had to uninstall a card reader and the software related to that. (was papercut)
Did it succesfully, however the folowing system message keeps coming back:

" The card authentication device is not connected"

surch the complete menu but can't find to disable it . . .
    Someone a clue here?

    Thanks in advance . .

Log in as admin- system settings- network/inface settings- scroll down to External interface software settings- select IC Card reader- DO NOT USE- ok, log out & reboot

Ther may also be a setting in SP mode for the type of device. That will need to be set back to None

If not are a problem, try to save the Smc data on a SD card For security back-up, and load the Smc data from another imc400 without card authetication and adjust some difference, if not work reload the back up data.

First poster was correct you will just need to disable proximity card reader in settings. The steps will be slightly different if the settings layout was changed to old menu. Also need to make sure tracking is disabled, user authentication turned back off, set back to allow continue.
