Ricoh MP6001 support for SMB V2 and SMB V3

Hello

Is there a firmware for Ricoh MP 6001 for smb V2 and V3?
It is an old device but still has a lot to offer before it sleeps.
Just wanted to confirm as the last network update on this device was in 2016.

I think that for this model there is no firmware update for smb v2 v3.
Those machines were hard and good.

Yes this machine can support SMB V2 & V3, Ricoh has custom firmware on the TSRC website for that application.

I have exhausted all my means and the latest firmware with me has only ssl 3 enabled. What i mean is I dont have the custom option with me. Could you help me with this? Thank you in advance.

There are still firmware updates for this machine you could try looking for copier tech {CTN user}

The device already has all the updated firmware.
As stated by anothertech I am missing the one that open up SMB V2 AND SMB V3 on this device.

This model supports SMB 2v3 with Special/Custom. Download via TSRC as previously stated. Review attached doc for specifics.

He does not want to know that it is available. He is not an authorized Ricoh technician. If he were he would already have been able to get the Bulletin. What he wants is someone to give him the firmware for free which is a violation of General 5.

Thank you for your information. However, I must inform that you do not have to be a ricoh authorized technician to access the firmware.It can be freely downloaded via ricoh firmware utility. The utility is freely downloaded from their website. My issue is that even after having all necesaary firmware, the smb 2 and 3 are still not avaliable in WIM.Any suggestions?

The reason why your missing the the "Higher SMB Version Support" for that machine is because you don't have the firmware for it on that machine. There is 3 firmware updated modulars

dated June of 2018 that you are missing. Case in point is the scanner modular D4625510J. As shown on your screen shot the date of that download is 2011 not 2018. I have not updated one of these units in a long time but if memory serves me the listed firmware version should show "CSxxx.." Also the newer firmware that you downloaded has nothing to do with SMB V2\3.
The new firmware addresses a security issue with the WIM and also may break the June 2018 SMB V2\3 update to add SMB 2\3 support.

I guess that is it. I have updated wrong firmware/s. I have tried the CTN user copierfirmware.co.uk but I guess they missed it too.

What country are you in? Your signature says Arizona in the US but you are using the UK support site?
