How often does it do the ghosting? Are they printing on non-standard media? Have you tried setting the tray to middle thick?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

T.M.: as i wrote before, it happens twice - or so - every week, could then be once in a multi print out.
No, i won't set it to middel thick, that might be a solution but sleeve will worn (much) quicker.
Ricoh must come with a solution (if the fault is in the software), no?
Do you have access to Octopussy? Is there an RTB?

ITB Cl unit is ok, it is not blocked with toner.
            Firmware version = 2.28 (latest?).
All fusing related SP's are on default.
Customer says machine has this problem from installation on...
I think this is a matter of firmware.
Has someone meanwhile a proper suggestion?
            Thanks.

Turn on auto firmware update SP 5886-111

                  I do not understand what you mean;
where is this second blank page located?
You mean that these 2 pages come together, as sticking to each other?
The distance between the original and the ghost is 37 inch.

Seems that the letterhead is the issue.
We have put this tray on medium thick and it seems that this setting the problem has solved...
Thank you for your inspiring help.

That good old "medium thick" trick - Either that or bumping the temps via SP for ~5deg celsius should to the trick

No, it did not solved this problem.
Yesterday there was (only) one printout (b&w) with ghost image...
The time between the above edited post (last week) and now it was ok.

It's still just happening with the letterhead paper?

The ghost image was on a normal 80 gr paper.
But because this machine is located in a separated room and the users are located at different locations in a big office my contact don't know if the previous print was on letterhead.
