Does anyone have a solution for discontinued part D1444272 other than upgrade?

    Thanks

They make aftermarket kits to replace the sleeve. However, I never had any luck on the reassembly. Damaged the sleeve every time.

      Hello everyone

Yep. I believe the sleeve might be the same as 4054, 2054, 3054. Well that's what the box said on the generic sleeve that I bought said. I installed that in a MPC3502. Still working well till today, more than a year later

The printer version of this is the SP C830dn. The fuser is interchangeable but requires 1 wire on the connector to be moved to a different slot. The EDP for the fuser is 407098 and can still be found online.

We have used the generic sleeve only, it is the same as the 54/55/im fuser sleeves in the b/w. Mileage may vary. Might have to tweak temp slightly.

The generic sleeve comes with a syringe loaded with oil.
But don't just change the sleeve, also change the oil pad.
Before going to the site, what I do is apply 3 to 4 syringes of oil little by little.
I apply one until it is absorbed and then I apply oil again 3 to 4 times.
If the bushings are worn, change them too.

I do the same with 5503 and so on.
