I have one that has a non paper feed jam 003. It will run 30 copies and then jam. Open tray one and close it to reset it and it may feed another 20 to 50 and jam again. This is what's been done so far. Replaced the whole feed unit. Replaced the feed motor and gear assembly. Replaced the tray lift motor. Replaced the bcu board. Replaced the feed motor wire harness. Replaced the drawer closed switch. I updated firmware with the package. Has anyone else had this problem or have any more ideas?. Thanks ...The copier has 25000 copies on it

Re: Mp 3054
Can you change paper feed retry in Ricoh? I mean how many times it would try to pick a sheet before give a missfeed message. If yes I would set it to the max as per manual and actually attempt to hear machine trying to grab a paper. And definitely change drawer/cassette to eliminate some kind of paper lift issue.A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. Re: Mp 3054
If you've already tried another feed station my money is on a tray set sensor, paper size sensor or door switch. Fairly common issues at the site I'm currently based on. Could also just be a bad batch paper I guess

I also had some in this series that the paper drawer was not making good contact with the tray set sensor.Comment

Re: Mp 3054( fixed)
I got the machine fixed. It ended up being the eprom on the bcu board or just doing a memory clear solved it. I used a used eprom from another copier and had to do the memory all clear. After that it has not jammed in over 1000 copies. I would not run 20 before it jammed before. If you never changed the eprom make sure you know how to change it back to English because it will come up in Japanese.Comment
