IM C4500 upgrade from MP C4503?

I have a client with a very problematic and old MP C4503. They are considering replacing it and are looking for suggestions.

Looking at options online, I came across the IM C4500, could that be considered a reasonable upgrade to the MP C4503, or is it pretty much the same printer?

The MP C4503 has served them well with over a million copies printed, but they want to invest on a solid model that will likely last a few years. I am not exactly sure about printing volumes, but I guess we are looking at around 15-20,000 copies per month on average.

Average volumes cover a couple of models, 15k a month for the IMC6000, 20k a month for the IMC8000, but that's a completely different beast. 50k and 150k maximum monthly for both too.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

The IMC 4500 would be an ideal replacement for the MP C4503 however if budget allows go for the IM C6000.

The IMC range is based on the MPC engine the main improvement is that the PCDU, Fuser & transfer units are consumable items so the user can replace them no tools required also they are considerably cheaper.
