Ricoh MP C2004 Wireless Connection Issue -Wrong IP address pick up from the ISP route

As originated from a Cisco Certified CCNA technician, I could not help myself posting this strange issue, the Ricoh MP C2004 wireless connection pick up a wrong IP address in a different subnet ethernet: Default ISP's DHCP address scheme is 192.168.0. 1, all phones and laptops pickup a correct one 192.168.0.x. BUT the printer's status "CONNECTED" Surprisingly it is 192.168.100.132, submask and default gateway are 255.255.255.0, 192.168.100.1 and it picked from the modem's IP address scheming.
Hard believe to pick up the 100 subnet which is not routable. Therefore No internet Access. I did not believe my eyes too, Double, and Triple ...checking. it was indeed 100 , it was Roger's Hitron CODA modem.

Hopefully some high profile tech folks post some comments. Really appreciated.

Are you talking about the low range WiFi that is part of the SOP? If so, that is normal. It is not part of the building's network. It is only for portable devices to use when standing in front of the C2004.

No sop such kind concept. just common as regular wifi connection, input the SAME password as computers and phones did.

As slim mentioned the SOP (smart operation panel) connects independently to the engine/copier both will have a different IP address etc.

The MP C2004 does not provide wifi printing by default you'd need an optional wifi card installing.

The SOP is only designed to connect to phone/tablets etc.

        This is my basic understanding.

Hay Man, this is something that I want to hear your explanation ( At least I understand your BASIC understanding. the theory you said Need An optional wifi Card installing. What is true or not, at least it makes sense explanation to me. I can give you My Fact that the Ricoh MP C306 , has no issue to connect wifi Directly from the SOP, Same IP address, , have internet assess, Can the bulit-in web browser can access internet from the SOP....

But we are talking about the C2004 not the C306. The C2004 does have a wireless LAN option, IEEE 802.11a/g/n interface unit Type M19. Now I do not have documentation on the C306 but I do on the C305 and C307 and they both a wireless LAN option available for the GW controller.

IP addresses for wifi are not the same as IP addresses for LAN.
That will explain the x.x.0.xand x.x.100.x
If your mpc2004 is connected to a wireless router, or with a switch that connect with this router, than that is correct.
