    [Misc] Formatting Harddrive for Ricoh machine

    Hi wat is the format type for hdd for ricoh copier machine?
    NTFS, fat 32,gpt,mbr or EXfat?

    does any of this will effect the performance of the machine?

    The base OS for Ricoh copier is a modified Linux so I would say ext3.

      There's no need to pre-format the drives

          I uncounted an SC899 issue last week I only had with me a used old 320GB drive I pulled from a Canon but I formatted it to FAT32 in Windows fitted it to an MP 301 once powered on it prompted me to format once I did that & rebooted it worked fine.
