Good day. I have an MP C4503 which is folding paper before reaching the registration at random as per attached image. This is occurring when using tray 1. I have swoped the 1st and second paper feed unit assembly problem is still there. The guide plate swivel no.1 is ok. Has anyone ever encountered this issue?

Look at the belts on the duplex door opposite feed station 1. One of them will be sticking. Just put a bit of light oil on the shafts and you should be sorted.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

As mentioned above this is a common feed rollers problem you need to replace them as a set.Comment

I have swoped the paper feed unit assembly but the paper is folded from tray 1 only. Tray 2 is working fine. I will change the feed rollers and see what happens.Comment
