Ricoh C3004 Printing was stopped due to the power supply being low voltage

    Hi Experts,

I am encountring this error code after turning the machine ON, “Printing was stopped due to the power supply being low voltage. Turn the main power switch off then on.” The model is Ricoh MP C3004.

I have changed both of the power supply boards at rear downside but error is still there.

    Any suggestions?

    Regards,

    Hello
I had this problem once with a Mp2004 in a shop, the machine was on the same plug with the 4 freezers.

What is the voltage coming into the machine from the wall outlet? Probably low. Attach a surge suppressor that monitors the voltage, then print out the report after a few days. This will prove or disprove the power problem.

It is most likely referring to low AC line voltage. What you need is an "always ON" 2000VA minimum UPS.Plug only the C3004 into it.

          Thank you for your advices.

The first thing I checked was Power outlet, input Voltage, and the power rating of the machine. All of them were good and matching the requirements.

          * Then I changed the Power supply LVPS
          * As per Ricoh simply restarting the printer should work but it didn't.

          * After clearing the memory machine started working.

Conclusion: Also try clearing the memory
