The newer MPC4000/5000 models use a motor to apply and decrease the fusing pressure (it's to help prevent flat spots occuring).
Unfortunately it can sound fairly loud and clicky but that is the norm unless they bring out a mod.
Knowledge not shared, is eventually knowledge that becomes lost... like tears in the rain.

Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window. Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.
The noise is very laud on the machine with the bearing in direct contact with the heat roller no bushings install and for this problem Sharp found a magic solution something like 5 bucks high temperature Teflon spray and looking at my garage door W40 do the same magic. Unfortunately after a weekend the sound of a flat roller is an addition to the tac-tac that drives people crazy. I replaced the bearings and the used one you can hear the balls inside touching the frame. These bearings I can tell are not high temperature bearings.
Hi Stephend yes I was but not anymore Thanx God. You're the lucky one to fix this "creation" of Ricoh and about these bearings maybe came from Calgary made in Foothills area!!!
