    [Electrical] MP 301 / MP 1013

Hello fellow Tech guys, I am waiting for a heater lamp (fuser) for a customer with a MP 301, I was wondering if any one has used a lamp from a 1013, they look the same size and there is on one number difference in the parts book, The customer is jumping up and down and this will end up being my fault.

If it fits and it's the same wattage and voltage I don't see any reason why you can't use it.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Chances are it's probably a lower wattage lamp so it may code out on startup or during a run bit it's worth a shot in a pinch. Let us know if it works

Like the other tech said, if it fits, has the same wattage and voltage it might work. MIGHT

That being said the equipment has evolved alot since the 1013 not to mention the toner has evolved as well.

Give a try... With caution ⚠.

Also be very careful I once fused a hot roller and pressure roller by using the wrong thermistor on a 1013

Probably not. Lower wattage which could lead to error codes due to longer warmup time. Heat distribution across the length might be different.

Wattage is different. Here is the lamp description from each parts catalog.

            1013
            Heater - 120V/800W
