We have a Ricoh IM7000 that eventually sucks enough developer out to cause light copies. Developer was changed and the copies were fine. Fifty thousand copies later it did the same thing. A new developer unit with fresh developer was installed and the copies were great again. Fifty k further down the road, the same thing happened again. This time it got fresh developer and a new drum. The images look great but i worry it is going to happen again. I was hoping someone here might be able to offer a solution. When and if it happens again, my next step would be the high voltage board that supplies charge and bias. This is in a low volume environment. It was installed new about 3 years ago and only has 170k clicks on it.
Thanks in advance.
