Hi Everyone,
I'm not a copy tech and I've tried contacting Ricoh directly about this but they don't seem to have a lot of experience with 802.1x..
I came across this forum while Googling and thought, let's shoot the question here. I hope the question is not too much on the networking side, but maybe some of you have experience with this.
We use Cloud RADIUS for authenticating our devices using 802.1x or MAB.
We install certificates on our RICOH printers to be used in 802.1x on ethernet. Some Ricoh models work just fine including IM C300, C3000 and C4500.
But we have some lower end models like the P 502 which don't work with 802.1x. I use the exact same configuration on the P 502 as the IM models, but when I enable 802.1x nothing happens. The RADIUS server simply does not receive any requests.
The IM models are connected to the exact same networking equipment with the exact same network configuration.
Have any of you experience with this?
Thanks in advance!
