SP 4510SF, Cannot print from USB

    Hi all,

Purchased a used Ricoh SP 4510SF, all functions seems ok except no printing from USB / SD.
Nothing happens when pen drive / SD Card inserted in front panel.

Web image Monitor > System >
Media Slot Use > Print from Memory Storage Device
    already set "Allow"

But it can scan and store to
Memory Storage Device. So it seems both slot are fine.

Performed all memory cleared, but it still cannot Print from Memory Storage Device

Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions.

When you go to the print function screen does the "Prt From Dev" appear to the right of the Print Jobs tab?

Then recheck that Print from Memory Storage Device setting. I have a feeling it is not enabled. That is the only setting in the Security Guide.

As far as I can remember these kind of copier uses USB only for scanning inside of it, printing a file from it is not possible

I may be wrong, but I think you need the optional HDD to print from external memory storage device

                    It can
print directly from USB stick or from
                    SD card, my friend

I just checked, if you don't have the optional HDD then you will not get this function
