Blank prints on Ricoh MP W6700SP

    Hello all,

I am working on a Ricoh MP W6700.
I’m having an issue where pages just come out blank when printing blueprints. Test pages from the machine and from the driver work fine. Is this something any of you have run into before? I have updated firmware and tried a new driver with no luck. The customer is printing out of a program called Bluebeam.

Bluebeam is a construction software for creating blueprint in pdf and tif formats. Are you sure that they are sending the files to the WP 6700 as pdf and not tif? Depending on the exact version of Bluebeam they are using they may need to incorporate Ghostscript add-on to their Bluebeam. If not, they may need to save the blueprints as a pdf file and use Acrobat viewer with Ghostscript to print.

something i have seen as well. are they printing directly from bluebeam? if so, i would try saving the file to the desktop as a pdf. then open that file and print it.

Thanks for the advice! After saving a PDF and printing the document, the customer was able to contact Bluebeam support and get that working. Thanks!
