Ricoh C2500 auto power down problem.

    [Electrical] Ricoh C2500 auto power down problem.

    Aslam o Alykum!
    I have a Ricoh Mp C2500 machine. When I start it, it is showing the welcome screen but after some seconds it turns off automatically. Please tel me what should I do to solve the problem?

    Is this the IM C2500 ? if so try updating the firmware.

      He says MPC2500. I recall that a faulty polygon motor can blow zero ohm resistors/fuses on the BICU but the symptoms were different (something like no LCD backlight).

      Does it boot with an open front door?
      Does it really switch it's power switch back to off?

        Some time its staying for long ang giving an error 672 but mostly the welcome screen going of before that. And also no any other movment in the machine as well. Like any roller or any fan.

          SC672 is a communication error between controller and panel, usually comes as a side effect due to other problems.
          Did you re-seated the RAM and try booting the MFP with the HDD unplugged?

          Really hard to tell but it's also possible that the 24V aren't there so you can try and check the fuses on the PSU, too.
