    transfer case assembly on a mpc3501 vs a mpc2800

    HI
I have maybe 3-5 of these older workhorses in the field scattered all over.
I have one that needs the transfer case changed but i forget which model has the thicker transfer roller.
As I found a modded unit I did 2-3 years ago i do not know if it is the mpc3501 or the mpc2800.
\The only difference I remember was the thicker transfer roller.
If one swaps the entire unit will it work in either machine?
    thanks

I'm sitting next to a 3mpc001 and this one has the thicker roller compared to MPC2500 (not shure what the 2800 roller looks like though^^)

I will take a pic of both rollers and post to compare.

So I lucked out and had a service call close by that had 2 old mpc3501 pushed off to the side as the customer had them replaced with newer machines.
the mpc3501 transfer roller is thicker than the mpc2800/3300 series.
I was able to take the whole assembly from the machine they are no longer using.
I still do not know if i could have used the older assembly as it seems the transfer roller is driven by contact with the transfer belt.
