    I do not see where to the login button is. Is there a secrete to finding where to login to this machine.

    Login to what? If User Authentication has not been enabled then there will not be a login needed for Copy, Fax and Scan.

            All that does is rebuild the indices. It does not erase the files,.

              It will wipe the HDD which is what the OP was asking.

                You need to enable admin authentification first then you'll see a log in button in user tools in order to use all functions including a proper data wipe + HDD overwrite.
