Savin Gestetner & Lanier

I think Savin is still an active brand, but Lanier might be gone. Does anyone involved with Ricoh have some info to share?

All 3, Savin, Gestetner and Lanier are wholly owned subsidiaries of Ricoh. Near the turn of the century re-organized the dealer division their division. All Gestetner dealers in the became Lanier dealers for better name recognition. At the time I retired in 2017 we were a Lanier dealer but we could sell under both the Lanier and Ricoh branding. Mostly Lanier was for existing customers.

at least, here in Italy I did a search on the Chamber of Commerce website, it lists it as a business in liquidation/ceaseful
