[Dead] Old Ricoh 470w Workhorse wide format is limping

Don't laugh, but this was a great machine ! I lost a 1300w/120v fuser lamp. Anyone have one I can buy? OR...what will happen if I put a 120v/1150 watt lamp in it? That may be the only thing I can do. I'm not aware of any places that would sell these. Ricoh has none. Thanks for any info.

What is the part number for the lamp you want?

The lower wattage lamp may cause warm up errors, temperature fade during printing and might not have the proper distribution of heat along the length.

Wow! Haven't worked with 1 of these in years. Nice machine from what I remember. Or least, I never had any major issues with it except for you need lots of space when working with it.

My best suggestion to you would be to contact ricoh and ask if they have a second hand unit that you can buy for spares. If you still using the current machine, you can always use the 1 you buy for the rest of the spares.

      All the best.

Part # is AX45 0035. Ricoh tells me the updated parts # is AX45 0040. Thanks.
