    SR 4120 staple issue,

    greetings for all,

    i have an issue when the printed paper goes to stapling unit,it looks like it doesnt go straight in ,so it doesn't staple right ,i have had disassemply the whole unit i didn't find a clue,
    has any one gone with that before?or have an idea?

    usual problem, rotten sponge roller, and/or broken upper swing guide on the side
    for the roller, with a little skill you can adapt a roller af03-2090/2094, or others (only the rubber though)

        + try to avoid stapling in SEF mode, I have one customer with a machine in difficult enviroment that's acting up even with modded rollers because there's too much "paper rolling". Paper rolls against runnind direction wich is pretty bad for how the stapling/aligning mechanism is designed. Unfortunately the customer need both LEF/SEF stuff staples in his workflow. We ended up installing tray heaters and actually haven't got a call again (so far).
