    IM350F: ADF hinge screw loose

We have been having some ADF problems with the IM350Fs when a screw gets loose or falls out for 1 of the hinges. I haven't seen any tech bulletins from Ricoh about that.

the tech forum has basically disappeared on the Ricoh tech website. So posting here.

I haven't been the one working on the machines but I can find out what actually goes on with the ADFs when it happens. We went to a ADF not working call today...they had issue back in December with the screw "missing". Tried putting some crazy glue in the hole I think. (Was the left hinge)

Hello, all MP 402 and IM 350 / 430 have a problem with the left hinge. In reality it is not the hinge but the anchoring of the hinge. The thread in the plastic breaks and it is necessary to drill and place a through screw with nut and washer

Hell you can source the screws, nuts, flat washers and lock washers from your nearest hardware store.
