Clean the transfer roller bushings (usually a squeal) and make sure the roller and springs are properly positioned. Also the pick up and registration clutches can make noises and jams

If so replace the PCU as it is what has destroyed the motor.
      Good morning to all,

I writing to confirm that upon returning to our clients machine I replaced the Drum unit & can confirm the unusual noises have been resolved.

Should the noise return , I will delve into the main drive assembly.

Kind regards to everyone & a great week ahead.
