    converting a SP430 DRUM/DEV UNIT TO MPC401 DRUM?

    Greetings
    i have about 25 SPC430/SPC440 DRUMS THAT I WANT TO CONVERT TO MPC401 USE
    THOUGHT IT WAS JUST SWAPPING TD DEV UNIT SENSOR AND HARNESS..BUT IT DID NOT WORK??????

      Hey Andy.
      Hope all's well. Don't seem to see as much of you around these parts lately?
      You have to swap 2 wires from the connector to to TD sensor.
      I figured out this conversion a few years ago created a document for myself, and also added it to some other conversions (Fuser unit) that someone else had posted previously.
      Have a look....

          HOWS the great north??
          I am just getting by as things are still not back to normal in nyc and i
          have focused more on rebuilding my home.
          And then my place upstate.
          so copier stuff takes a back seat for me now.
          Thanks for the info .
          I swapped out td sensor,complete harness,even the one with
          the 2 wires that would be swapped over.
          Maybe that drum was not a old mpc401 drum or
          maybe i put the td sensor back by accident.
          I will revisit today.
          I would assume one can take the sensor and connector from a color mpc 401
          and use it on a black spc430 drum/dev unit...

              That I can't tell you for sure. I think I only ever did this from black to black and colour to colour.
