    MPCW2201SP with SC282-12

How to repair SC282-12 on a MPCW2201SP. I couldn't clear error. Manual mentions a Air leak detected. Was thinking the tank on the black printhead is leaking but another tech thanks it is the pump. Could use some direction.

if the machine has sat idle for some time the machine may have issues purging the air from the lines and will code out on startup before it can get good readings. If the code is coming up from a cold boot before it comes to ready keep trying to reboot to see if it recovers on its own. sometimes can take 5 or so reboots. After getting to a ready state the nozzle check pattern will probably be blank. run 2 cleanings and a flush checking the pattern between each. if it doesnt improve try another round of cleanings and flush. if still no improvement release the maintenance unit and remove it. move the carriage to the home position and clean the heads manually. reinstall the maintenance unit and run nozzle checks and cleanings/flushes. if still no improvement replace the mainenance unit.
