    Mpc306 void lines

Anyone had these juddering noise type void lines on all colours. I've fitted ITB and PTR assy's with no joy.

Still looks like a fuser issue.

I would suspect a roller whose diameter is a multiple of the distance between the voids. Or a gear somewhere causing a jitter in the movement.

Looks like a transfer roller issue. I would check the contacts for the PTR, also the shaft for any dirt that will prevent contact. check for cracks in the roller foam. i had an issue like this and when i check the roller, it had a tear in the foam.

Are these voids also visible on the image when it's on the transfer belt - just interrupt the print process and check.

Looks perfect on the belt and changed the Transfer roller.

Was it a new xfer roller or used?

Brand new PTR. I've ordered a full set of drums and fuser(over kill and probably non related). Going back in with another engineer as I'm going round in circles. Will be a bent spring or something silly like that.

It reminds me of a failure of an IM C4500, ha which changed the Transfer Band badly, and placed it upside down.
I had to disassemble the entire Transfer Unit to place the mark in the correct position for installation.
