    FAINT TEST COLOR PATTERN ON RICOH mpc3004

    Greetings to you all, i was called by a customer that his mpc3004 has the moistured and almost faded color pattern. So far, I've changed ITB and ITB Transfer Roller yet no solution. Attached is the sample.

    Why post it twice?
    What are the PM counters for the PCDU’s? Much more information needed, have you changed the paper?

      PCDU have all been changed, still no luck. Concerning posting twice it was due to service provider mishaps.

        What condition is the paper ? damp humid environment will cause faint prints.

        Run a duplex copy or print & see if the 2nd side the quality has improved.

          Were the PCDU’s genuine new or just from some other machine? Again, new paper.

              From the sample print, it is understood that;

              The paper is damp
              The laser protective glass is dirty
              There is sedimented toner or other foreign substances in the developer unit
              Also, check if the right side cover is closed properly. Check the position of the transfer roller unit.

                I will do the above mentioned when I get to the customer machines. Thanks
